    Susie Baker, LCSW, ACHP-SW

    Susie Baker, LCSW, is the founder of Luminous Self where she supports individuals through grief, anxiety, and life transitions.

    With over a decade of experience working with older adults in hospice care, Susie brings compassion and deep understanding to end-of-life support and the challenges of aging.

    In her private practice, she specializes in one-on-one therapy, helping clients find resilience, healing, and meaning in life’s changing seasons. She also serves as an adjunct professor and provides supervision for those seeking licensure, guiding the next generation of social workers with clarity, wisdom, and heart.

    Marcus D, Certified Life Advisor/Financial Coach

    Marcus Duncantel is a Certified Life Advisor and co-host of the Whisper to the Wild One podcast, known for weaving his passion for music into his work as a guide for dreamers, creators, and quiet rebels. He has also the Founder and Board President of Luminous Rising Foundation, a non profit focused on harvesting community.

    At Luminous Self, Marcus helps individuals transform vision into action, blending motivational coaching with soulful reflection. He also specializes in career development, and job search support, empowering clients to build confidence, clarity, and sustainable success.

    Whether on stage, in session, or behind the mic, Marcus inspires others to trust their voice, honor their passions, and design lives that resonate with purpose and possibility.

    Katherine Noboa, Office Manager

    Katherine Noboa serves as the Office Manager at Luminous Self, where she brings warmth, organization, and heart to the client experience. With a background in psychology and extensive volunteer service in hospitals, hospice, and community programs, Katherine has a gift for creating spaces of care and connection. She blends her skills in client support, event coordination, and compassionate communication to ensure the practice runs smoothly while holding space for every person who walks through the door.

    Passionate about both wellness and community, Katherine also cherishes the role of pets as beloved family members, carrying that same sense of loyalty and care into her work. She embodies the Luminous value of guiding others with clarity, kindness, and purpose.

  • Ashton Frische, LCSW

    Ashton Frische, LCSW is a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life's challenges with authenticity, resilience, and hope. She earned her Master of Social Work, with a concentration in Mental Health and Substance Abuse, from the University of Texas at Arlington. Ashton has expertise in supporting individuals experiencing, depression, grief and loss, relationship concerns, substance use challenges, and complex medical needs.

    Ashton is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where individuals and couples can explore vulnerabilities, strengthen communication, gain insight, and address barriers impacting their well-being.

    She enjoys helping couples deepen connection, navigate conflict, improve communication, and build stronger, more fulfilling relationships.
